Caliph Harun al-Rashid al-Ashma'i taught about the principles and rules nahi evil against the ruler (officials).
One time a preacher who does not know anything about the principles that came to the Caliph and advise him with
harsh words and harsh. Although ar-Rashid loved the clergy and often sit together and listen to their advice,
Another case with a this one.
Ar-Rashid said, "Try it you speak to me properly and objectively."
Preacher replied, "That is the most minimal for you."
Ar-Rashid, "Try to tell me who is more evil, me or Pharaoh?"
The preacher, "Pharaoh."
Ar-Rashid, "Who is better, you or Musa bin Imran?" The preacher, "Moses."
Ar-Rashid, "Do you not know when Allah sent Moses and his brother Aaron to Pharaoh? God commanded unto them,
"So the two of you talk to him with gentle words, I hope he remember or fear."
The preacher, "Yes, I know."
Ar-Rashid, "That was the Pharaoh who was full of arrogance and ruthlessness, while you come to me with such circumstances.
I implement duty-duty to God, I only bow to God. I obey the laws, His commands and prohibitions,
while you advised me with a loud voice and harsh words with no manners and morals. You will not be secure and happy if I catch you. And if you have offered your soul, then you already do not need it anymore. "
The preacher, "I have been guilty, O Commander of the Faithful and I apologize."
Ar-Rashid, "May God forgive you."
Then the Caliph gave him a twenty thousand dirhams, but the preacher refused to accept it.
